My work is an attempt to create a psychic iconography of modern life through the symbolic language of painting. Rooted in direct expression, my paintings and drawings aim to capture the fundamental human struggle for meaning and connection in a broken world through a metaphorical reckoning with the forces and tensions that underlie everyday life in an era when the foundations of society and our relationship to reality itself seem particularly tenuous.
